Lonely People

About the collection

The Lonely People paintings emerged at the crossroads of a global pandemic, a polarized political climate, and the isolating effects of social media. Created at the start of COVID and continuing through the Trump presidency, the series captures the feeling of profound loneliness despite being surrounded by people.

While social media offered connection, it often amplifies division and comparison, leaving us surrounded yet unseen. These works explore the tension of being alone  and feeling invisible.,
